Things have been crazy since I last wrote and naturally, a lot has happened that is worth writing about but I'll just hit the high points since all the details would take longer than I thought. September 3 I was in a low speed car accident with an 18 wheeler! Yea, scary! I was just driving home from work in stop and go traffic and I looked in my rear view mirror and all I saw was peter-built grill! And he bumped me and I tried to pull forward but couldn't because there was a car in front of me and he just kept bumping me! I was so scared and waiting for him to stop. After about 5 times I finally was able to pull forward and he switched lanes and started to drive away! I followed him and laid on the horn and pulled up next to him and rolled down the window and yelled you hit me pull over! He eventually pulled over and as it turned out, he never even knew he hit me! He thought his breaks were going out so he was pumping them. Thankfully I was fine save really bad whiplash that lasted about 2 1/2 weeks and so was my car except a lot of scratches and I slightly out of place bumper. So over all it really turned out to be somewhat of a good thing because we made some money out of it! Who gets in an accident with an 18 wheeler and walks away without a scratch? Apparently I have great guardian angels!
So on a better note, my Mom gave Reese and I tickets to the baseball game last weekend and we had so much fun! We had great seats! 3 rows from the field behind the visiting dugout. It was great and it made me realize that I really need to invest in a much bigger zoom lens for my camera! I got some good pictures but they could have been great if I had a better lens! Also, we just moved into a new office which is much nicer and the best part is, I am not all alone in the office all the time because we combined with our sister companies and I no longer sit directly under an A/C vent!
And the best news of all, my husband had a great job interview! We are very excited because it looks like we may be climbing out of this 8 month slump we have been in! He has a second interview on Tuesday and he met someone else at the chili fest. this weekend that may want to set up an interview as well! Thank God! This is proof he is listening! Ok I know I am kindof cutting this short, but I am watching a movie at the same time and it just got interesting enough for me to actually pay attention! I hope to write more often this month.
